RFID, Inc., an Aurora, Co.-based developer and manufacturer of RFID tags and readers, has launched a new RFID ecommerce website, at which visitors can purchase RFID tags, readers and antenna hardware. The products include low-frequency (LF, 125 KHz), high-frequency (HF, 13.56 MHz) and ultrahigh-frequency (UHF) passive RFID tags and readers, as well as active RFID products operating at 433.92 MHz. “With more than 1,000 different product SKUs [stock-keeping units], this site is, without a doubt, the most comprehensive RFID ecommerce site in the world,” says James Heurich, RFID, Inc.’s CEO. “Our forte, for 34 years, has been as a provider of custom RFID tags and readers addressing the needs of users or OEMs [original equipment manufacturers] with unique applications demanding product that doesn’t currently exist.
